Callers and dancers both, come practice positional contras: calling, teaching, and dancing without role names. The Lagomorph Trio will play! Positional calling uses the geometry of the dance to orient everyone. Several callers have used positional/role-free techniques at evening dances in the Triangle over the last six months. We are dancing in the back studio at Triangle Dance Studios, Nov 3, 12:30-3:30PM. If you can, please donate $5-$10 for the band.

We'll have an open mic for experienced and learning callers. Callers, if you can prep several dances and arrive 10-15 minutes early, that will help us organize the program. We'd love to hear ahead of time if you'd like to call a dance (but please come anyway if you don't RSVP). For ideas about how to call positionally, here is a starting guide.
