Sun Assembly is teaming up with Triangle Country Dancers (TCD) to sponsor and hold an evening event to support the Country Dance and Song Society. The March 14 fund-raiser at the Reality Center in Durham will also give us a chance to sample contra dancing, English country dancing and square dancing.

The proceeds will be donated to CDSS. Attending will be Gaye Fifer, CDSS President; Bruce Hamilton, a former CDSS president who will also be calling for Sun Assembly’s DanceFest on March 16 and 17; and Katy German, CDSS Executive Director. Calling the dances will be Pat Petersen, Gail Lacy, Gaye Fifer, Valerie Helbert, and Kyle Johnston. Playing will be some outstanding area musicians: Julie Gorka, Joey O’Donnell, Dean Herington, and Pete Campbell.

CDSS provides a wide range of vital resources for dancers and groups, including TCD and Sun Assembly. Please, come out and support CDSS. The suggested donation will be $10.
